Celebration of life services for John M Bundrick will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday June 1, 2024 at St. David Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.

John, 81, [03/20/1943-05/18/2024] went to be with our Lord Jesus on Saturday, May 18, 2024 . He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father figure, and an avid member of the church. John was always the creative type. He loved to sing. He would often be found crafting a Swedish woven gift for someone.

He was an active participant in the church community and served on the Council at St. David Lutheran Church. In addition to Sunday School, he was a member of Young at Heart, Lutheran Men, Congregational Life Team, and Altar Guild. John was a dedicated, multi-faceted man. If the church doors were open, he would try to be there.

From his service in the Army from 1966-1968, to his accounting career, to his church and family relationships--he deeply cared for everything he did. Those who knew him were truly blessed. He retired from Tropicana Products, Bradenton, FL after 25 years of service.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Manning Bundrick, and his mother, Olive Huggins Bundrick. He leaves behind his loving wife of 45 years, Joan King Bundrick, his daughter of the heart, Andrea Rex Barrios, son-in-law Kenneth Barrios, and granddaughter Hannah Eileen Barrios. As well as his dear sisters Rachel Bundrick and Josie Wood and brother-in-law Bill Wood. His beloved nephews Brett Wood and his wife Krissen Wood, Tony King, Chris Wood and his wife Amor Wood, Travis King and his wife Linsey King,. His cherished neices, Angie Wood Cooperider, Victoria King Morgan and her husband Kenneth Morgan, Denise Arlet and her husband Tim, and Lauren Nicole King.  Many cousins, as well as various nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a great niece. The family would like to acknowledge Continue Care Hospital, it's nurses and staff, and especially the respiratory therapists Julie and Lorraine (Lilly).

Memorials may be made to St. David Lutheran Church, 132 St. David Church Rd, West Columbia, SC 29170
