Jeffrey Thomas Holt Jr.

It is with great sadness that the family of Jeffrey Thomas (Nick) Holt Jr. announce the loss of his long battle with colon cancer.  Nick was born on December 25 ^th 1985 and passed away on July 16 ^th 2018.  Nick was born in Columbia and grew up in Gilbert, South Carolina.  He attended Gilbert High School where he played numerous sports.  He was a gifted mechanic.  He was also an exceptional cook who loved to prepare and serve meals to his family.  He adored children and he loved his family, especially his son Hayden.  He is survived by his son, Nicolas Hayden Holt, his parents; Jeff and Lynn Holt, his sister and brother-in-law; Tara and Jim Grimball, his nephew; Foster Grimball, and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  A service in remembrance of Nick will be held on Friday July 20, 2018 at 5:30 PM at Moseley's Funeral Home, 914 Meeting Street West Columbia, SC 29169.  Visitation to follow.
