James E. Steele

Rev. James Edward Steele of Batesburg passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017. Born March 7, 1943 son of the late Rev. L.F. Steele and Hattie Lee Steele.  Rev. Steele was an ordained minister of the former Full Salvation Baptist Church in Columbia, S.C.  He dearly loved his family, and sharing God's word.  He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cynthia Steele, and children Debra Whittle, Franklin Steele, Angela Steele, Kimberly Steele, Joe Steele and Eddie Barr. Also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 7 Great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday, December 30th, 2017 at 11:00am at Dean's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1810 Hollywood Road, Saluda, SC.  Family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00.  Burial in the church cemetery immediately following services.
