James Monroe Smith Jr (Kilo-watt),78, of Gaston South Carolina, signed off for the last time

Tuesday November 10th 2020. He was born on Nov 18th 1941 in Columbia, South Carolina to James M Smith Sr and Molly Fulmon Smith.

James, United States Veteran, faithfully served in the US Army for 8 years including the Vietnam War for 4 campaigns. He was a member of the DAV. He also was a member of the Suburban Baptist Church.

James is survived by his wife of 49 years Carol Smith, His two sons James Smith III ( Crystal), Phillip Smith (Paula),his Grandchildren; Angelia Walker (Phillip), Joshua Moore ( Brittany), Tyler Smith, Trevor Smith, Ryan, Kayla, Roger Pendelton and four great grandchildren; Braxxton, Koltin, Audrey and Ella-Grace, and his two sisters; Ann Isabella and Sylvia Sanders, his brother John Smith.

He was predeceased by his brothers George Smith, Roy Smith, and his daughter Faith (Angie) Moore (David)

A graveside service will be held at 3pm Sunday, November 15th, 2020 at Gibson Cemetery 3111 Delree St. West Columbia, South Carolina,29170 .

Visitation will be held at 1pm Sunday, November 15th, 2020 at Moseley Funeral Home 914 Meeting St. West Columbia, South Carolina, 29169 .
