James Larry Minchew

Larry was born in Columbia, son of Dottie Price and the late James Edward Minchew. Larry was a plant manager at VLS Recovery Services of Grey Court, SC. He was an avid fan of NASCAR Racing. His favorite drivers were Jeff Gordon and Chase Elliott. Larry was a die hard fan of the Carolina Gamecocks. His hobbies were deer hunting, fishing and building anything out of wood; woodworking was one of the many talents he possessed. Larry's  favorite pastime was spending time with his children and grandchildren, going on vacations and cookouts with family and friends. Larry was a dedicated and loving husband, father and Papa. He never met a stranger, always willing to take  time to teach others what he had learned thru his lifetime.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Teresa, children, Jamie Minchew (Daniel) and Kyle Sandy (Krista); grandchildren, Annabell, Austin, Cohen, Johnathan and Saylor; mother, Dottie Price;  brothers, Kenny Minchew (Valerie), Micheal Wages (Cassie), Jeffery; stepmom, Betty Minchew; 13 nieces , 9 nephews, 6 great nieces, 6 great nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his father James Edward Minchew.
