James "Jimmy" Grayson Rose

A service to celebrate the life of James "Jimmy" G. Rose, 75, of Lexington will be held 3:00 pm Thursday November 29, 2018 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the church prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Woodridge Memorial Park with Masonic rites. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the church or the Shriners Hospital.

Jimmy passed away Thursday November 22, 2018 at his home. he was born in Oglethorpe, GA and was the son of the late James and Beulah Rose. He retired from Shakespeare, loved antique cars and was a 1961 graduate of Dentsville High School.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Gregory Boyd-Rose; daughter, Loris Rushing; granddaughter, Jessica Rushing; step children, Howard Boyd, II and Karen (Wilson Rickenbaker) Boyd; sister, Kay (John) Estes; nieces and nephew, Lynn Walden (Kelly), Marc Mann (Jill), Caroline Gross (Shelby ). great nephews, Colemann & Manning Gross. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth (Marcus) Mann.
