Mrs. Ida Mae (Corbett) Campbell, 81, of Lexington passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018 at home, surrounded by her loved ones. A service to celebrate her life will be held 1:00 pm Saturday December 22, 2018 at Round Hill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Campbell was the beloved wife of James D. Campbell for 65 years. She is also survived by 7 children, Rose Alice Prescott, Ida Mae Pizzillo, Patricia Ann Campbell, Barbara Lynn Limehouse, Janet D. Infinger, Loretta Williamson and James Douglas Campbell, Jr.

Mr. and Mrs. Campbell were also blessed with 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Campbell were charter members of College Park Baptist Church, located in Ladson, SC and were faithful members for 36 years. After moving to Lexington, they joined Round Hill Baptist Church. She also loved making special occasion cakes for family and friends.

Mrs. Campbell was an avid gardener and later in life developed a love for painting nature. Her children all received some of her works.

Mr. and Mrs. Campbell lived in Charleston and Moncks Corner most of their married lives. They moved to Lexington almost 4 years ago to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

She is also survived by one daughter-in-law, Mary T. Camp bell, and one son-in-law, Frank P. Williamson.
