Herman Ray Glover

February 6, 1937 — November 30, 2017

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Herman Ray Glover, 80, of West Columbia will be held 3:00 pm Sunday December 3, 2017 at Congaree Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Broughton officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Church.

Mr. Glover passed away Thursday November 30, 2017. He was born in Parris Island, SC and was the son of the late Jessie Ray and Margaret Conway Glover. Mr. Glover was a member of Congaree Baptist Church and was a veteran of the US Marines Corps.

Mr. Glover is survived by his loving dear wife, Elaine Sightler Glover;  son, Jamie Ray (Stephanie) Glover; grandchildren, Jessica Rae Glover, Sarabeth Joy Glover and Luke Steven Glover; brother, Clifford (Elaine) Glover and sister, Lucille Glover Janosko. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Walter, Richard and Jessie Glover and sisters, Lois Corine Davis and Ann Lorraine Glover.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Dorn VA Hospital, VA Home Based Primary Care and Warriors Walk Hospice  Care Staff for their care and support they provided to our family.
