George Henry Flowers

George Henry Flowers 69, of West Columbia, SC,entered into eternal rest on Monday January 24, 2022. He was the son of the late James Gilbert Flowers and Ella Leigh Flowers.

Born July 22, 1952 in Conway, SC, George was one of nine brothers and three sisters. He fought the good fight of faith, he finished his course where there is now a crown of righteousness, and a place in heaven prepared for him. He was always faithful in church attendance, tithing, and generosity: a true Christian friend and brother. He was always in the middle of church events and family gatherings. Everyone appreciated his company. He was always kind and caring with a warm smile and a handshake, having his faith firmly anchored in the finished work of Jesus Christ. As much as was in human strength, he sought to live a holy life.

George loved his children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, church family and his many friends, and all loved him. His family is left to cherish his memory and to continue the example of service that he lived.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Audrey Flowers, sons Ryan Flowers of Cayce, Travis Flowers of West Columbia, daughter Kelly DiSalvo and her husband Gaetano DiSalvo of West Columbia, four grandsons, Anthony John DiSalvo, Peter JosephDiSalvo, Mark George DiSalvo and David ReaganDiSalvo.

George was preceded in death by his son KarltinMasato Flowers.

George was in the car sales business for the past several years.

His family would like to express their thanks for all of the condolences and sympathy that they have received.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm at Abundant Life Assembly, 105 Lincoln St, West Columbia.

Visitation will be Saturday January 29th at 1:00 pm, service to follow at 2:00.

Burial to follow at Abundant Life Memorial Gardens, 1116 Delree St, West Columbia.
