Freddie L. Cain

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Freddie L. Cain,  77 of Prosperity will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Macedonia Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm  at the church.  Memorials may be made to Macedonia Lutheran Church, 49 Macedonia Church Road, Prosperity, SC 29127 . Mr Cain passed away Thursday October 18, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Newberry SC and was the son of the late William “Bill” and Mable Lindler Cain.

Freddie was an Electical Engineer at SC E &G for over forty years and a USC Gamecocks alumni. He loved football and baseball!

He was an active member of Macedonia Lutheran church, Lutheran Men in Mission, Little Mountain Ruritan, Macedonia Goldie and St Peter Prime timers, Fairview Community center. Throughout his life he enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, camping and hiking .

Mr. Cain is survived by his wife, Janette Fulmer Cain; daughter, Mary Shannon Cain (Chris) Dameron; grandson, Cameron Alexander (Jessica) Cain; sister, Judy Fowler and brother, Tommy Cain.
