Fred L. Watts

Fred L. Watts, 92, of West Columbia passed away Friday May 29, 2020. He was the son of the late John Watts, Sr. and  Thelma Crime Watts Busbee.

Mr. Watts is survived by his daughter, Brenda Watts (Dennis) Reese and son in law, Ralph Jordan; grandson, John W. Deaver, III and granddaughter, Wendy D. Leonard; great grandchildren, Walker Deaver, Zane Deaver, Brice Leonard and Hannah Leonard. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Evelyn Cupstid Watts and daughter, Judy Jordan, sisters, Retha Busbee, Eva Jenkins, Lilly Mae Crawford and brothers, Hasford Watts, John Watts, Jr. and Hamp Watts. Mr. Watts was a carpenter by trade. He loved to fish, work in his garden and sing karaoke. But most of all, to spend time with his family. Mr. Watts was a lifetime member of Westside Baptist Church. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held Wednesday June 3, 2020 in the chapel of Moseley Funeral & Cremation Service at 2:00 pm. The family will receive guests from 1:00-2:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will follow at Westside Baptist Church Cemetery.
