Francisco Torres

November 21, 1944 — November 22, 2020

Rev. Francisco “Frank” Torres, Jr. was born on November 21, 1944 in Mercedes, TX. He served in the United States Army from 1965 until September 22, 1971 where he served as a SP4 when he was honorably discharged. Rev. Torres accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior and baptized in his name by Rev. Miguel Marrufo, Jr. on May 14, 1971 in Chicago Heights, IL. He received the Holy Spirt on May 28, 1971 and was initiated into the Ministry on September 23, 1972 in Wauchula, FL. He was then Ordinated in the year 1976 in Pahokee, FL. On December 17, 1983 was named Pastor of his first church in Indiantown, Fl. where he administered the word of God to many, where many gave their lives over to God. He and his wife worked for the Lord and the small community of Indiantown for over 13 yrs. Bro Frank was then offered Pastorship in Wauchula, Fl. where he and his wife served as Pastor for 2 yrs. In February 20, 2002 they were invited to visit the area of Columbia, SC and where they were received with open arms by Rev. Benjamin Sanchez, in Saluda, SC. In April 2002, Bro. Frank and his wife then begin to holding home services, until the Lord flourished their ministry in Columbia, SC.

Bro. Frank and his wife were blessed with three (3) children, Sam, Elizabeth and Andy Torres. They were also blessed with five (5) grandchildren. Rev. Frank was called home on November 22, 2020 at 2pm, where he now is in the presence of the Lord.
