Francis "Frank" P Wells
March 4, 1953 — June 3, 2021
Francis 'Frank' Wells 68, passed away unexpectedly June 3rd. Born in PIttsburgh, PA and a long time resident of W Columbia, SC. Frank was best known for a quick joke and a warm, friendly smile. He was a friend to many and a stranger to none.
Following his 4 years in the US Navy he spent 30+ years with the National Weather Service.
Frank is survived by his wife, Joan Wells, daughters, Rebecca (Dillon) Wells and Sarah Schnatter; as well as many loving family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Mary Wells; brothers Joseph, Edward, Richard Robert and Paul; and a sister, Judith.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 18th at 11am at St Josephs Catholic Church, 3512 Devine St, Columbia SC. A graveside service will be at the Allegheny Cemetary. Pittsburgh PA at a date yet to be determined.
