Evangeline Hunter Strickland

A service to celebrate the life of Evangeline Hunter Strickland, 94, of Blythewood will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday September 3, 2025 at Spring Valley Baptist Church. The family will receive one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow the service at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spring Valley Baptist Church.

Mrs. Strickland passed away Wednesday August 27, 2025. She was born in Blaney, SC. Mrs Strickland was a member of Spring Valley Baptist Church and retired from Providence Hospital after 20 years of service.

Mrs. Strickland is survived by her loving children, Yvonne Zweimiller and Marie (Tom) Boring; grandchildren, Rhett (Joey) Scruggs, Stephanie (Michael) Fox, Adam (Adrienne) Zweimiller and Lauren (Jason) Flake; great grandchildren, Kiera Fox, Beckett Fox, Shelby Scruggs, Bill Scruggs, Mary Scruggs, Jordan Flake, Hayden Flake, Zoe Zweimiller and Charles Zweimiller.
