Elizabeth “Betty” Louise Arrowwood-Thompson

Elizabeth (Betty) Louise Arrowood-Thompson, 88, left this earth surrounded by her family on March 25, 2022. Born on October 27, 1933 in Whitmire, SC, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lucy Arrowood. She is survived by her devout soulmate and husband of 69 years, John Henry Thompson. Her most prized and cherished accomplishment -her family. (5 generations) She was the most wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and dedicated her entire life to helping, cherishing and loving her family.  A devout Christian and a strong woman of faith, she was a member of Grace Baptist Church since 1973.  Even as a child she walked to the church every service on her own because of her love and faith in the Lord.  She loved her family and friends and was always willing to help and support them to meet their needs.  She was a lover of beautiful flowers and plants. Springtime was her favorite time of the year.  She loved gardening, bird watching and being outdoors with her family in the beautiful garden that thrived underneath her care.  She will forever be missed and leaves an empty space in our hearts that can never be filled.  We love you - forever and a day... Betty was preceded in death by Clarence Arrowood, brother; Dorothy Arrowood, sister.  Surviving are her children John M. Thompson (Joan); Terry Lee Thompson (Eileen); Jackie Lynn Thompson, Linda Thompson-Chavis (Carla). Her grandchildren Angel, Tyneal, Jeremy, Jessica, Brooke, Rebecca, Jennifer, Grayson and Devon.  Her great-grandchildren Cansis, Jacob, Marissa, Alyssa, Adam, Samuel, Braydon, Liam, Allie and Savvy.  Her great-great grandchildren Dawson and Eleanor.
