Elizabeth Cooper

Elizabeth Ann Cooper (Betsy) of Columbia, passed away on June 13, 2024. She was the daughter of James D Cooper, Sr. and Betty D Cooper. She is survived by her brother, James D. Cooper, Jr of North Carolina and sister, Carolyn Cooper Donahue of Columbia; nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Betsy graduated from AC Flora High School and later attended the University of South Carolina where she obtained a Bachelors Degree and a Master's Degree in English.

Betsy was a life long resident of Columbia and enjoyed writing, poetry, reading, visiting friends, and playing with animals.

She was a kind and gentle soul, rest in peace.
