Edith Ms. Edie Solis

Edith P. Solis, better known as Ms. Edie was born March 29, 1943 in McComb, Mississippi. she was preceded in death by her father, EG Travis and her mother, Irene F. Travis and  sister, Sharon Phillips. Ms. Edie was a graduate of Molar Beauty College and attended Northwestern University. Ms. Edie is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Anthony Solis, Sr.; son, Anthony Solis, Jr. and daughter,  Holly S. Hawkins; three grandchildren,  Andrea M. Waters, Travis Anthony Solis and Josh S. Crider; brother, William F. Travis of Olive Branch, Mississippi.  Ms. Edie worked for 30 years in special needs from young children to young adults. Those were some of the happiest days of her life. she loved her kids and they loved her. Ms. Edie was a member of Broadacres Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for first and second grades. Again, she loved her children and her church. A service to celebrate her life will be held at Broadacres Baptist Church on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at 3 PM . the family will receive friends following service at the church.
