Easley Benjamin Jeffcoat

January 15, 2007 — December 6, 2023

Easley Benjamin Jeffcoat, 16 of Sandy Run, found eternal peace amongst the stars on December 6th, 2023.

Easley was born on January 15th, 2007 to Lacey Brooke Busbee and Curtis Jeffcoat.

He attended Calhoun County High School and enjoyed performing in the Chorus there. Easley was an avid reader, loved musicals- especially Chicago. He had a special love for animals and once had a goat named Pink Floyd, his rooster Led Zepplin and dogs Gypsy Cupcake & Tilly Tilly Moonpie. Easley, like so many of his family before him, had the gift of gab and loved working with all of the ladies at Sandy Run Florist. He especially delighted in delivering flowers and seeing customer's faces light up with joy. Easley aspired to be a make up artist and loved to bring the beauty out in others. Easley's family hopes that whenever you see something sparkly & pretty- that you will smile in remembrance of him.

Easley was preceded in death by Great- Grandparents Jack & Ailsey  "Nanny Noonie" Busbee and Floyd & Sylvia "Nona" Tarr Jr and Great Uncles Allen Parrish and Jeff Busbee. Easley is survived by his mother Lacey Brooke Busbee, grandparents Martin & Kimberly Busbee, brother Eli "Shug" Jeffcoat, Great Aunt Sharon "Shay Shay" Parrish, Great Uncle Floyd Tarr III (Mary), Uncles Brad (Dodie) McCullar, Brent (Adrianna) McCullar, and cousins Sara Reale, Haley McCullar and Wade McCullar and longtime best friend Emily Binsley.  He is also survived by his father, Curtis Jeffcoat and paternal grandparents Larry & Sarah Jeffcoat.

His family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Easley's memory to a local charity, Yew Belong. Yew Belong offers counseling and mentoring services for individuals in the LGTBQ+ community. Visitation will be held Tuesday December 12th from 11am-1pm at Beulah United Methodist Church in Sandy Run with services immediately after at 1pm.
