South Congaree, South Carolina – Dolores Wolf Gambrell Passed away after a battle with cancer on January 13, 2022 at the age of 73.
Dolores was born in Hanover, PA, daughter of the late Charles E. Wolf, Sr. and Ruth M. Wolf. She was a graduate of Bermudian Springs High School class of1966, and salutatorian of her class.
Dolores married Andrew Reeder Gambrell in 1969. Dolores was very active in her church, Springdale Baptist Church and her local community. She was also founder and President of South Congaree Friend’s Of The Library. Dolores enjoyed traveling to other countries and across the United States with her Husband, Andy, and close friends.
Surviving are husband, Andrew Reeder Gambrell; daughter and son-in-law, Janis (David) L. Ouellette; son and daughter-in-law,Andrew (April) G. Gambrell; 6 grandchildren: David D. Ouellette, Jr., Sarah L. Taylor, Andrew R. Gambrell, Ashley L. Gambrell, James M. Larosa and Arianna J. Larosa; 2 greatgrandchildren: Julius A Taylor and Oakley M Taylor.
Also Surviving are Sister and brother-in-law, Ruth (Parker) E. Phillips; Brother and sister-in-law, George (Donna) E. Wolf; Sister, Jean C. Myers. Numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Preceded by her late brother and sister-in-law, Charles (Marie) E Wolf, Jr.; Brother-in-law, Carl Myers.
Memorials may be sent to: Springdale Baptist Church Youth Program, 357 Wattling Road, West Columbia, SC 29170. Moseley Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements. The funeral will be at Springdale Baptist Church and Internment will be at Woodridge Memorial Gardens.
