Elizabeth Dianne Tobias peacefully entered the Kingdom of God early Monday morning August 31,2026. Dianne was born on March 25, 1951 in Columbia, SC. She delighted in raising 2 children and embraced becoming a Mimi to her 5 grandchildren with arms wide open. She spent as much time with them as possible and loved taking them to pick from the strawberry patch and blueberry farm. She set up their own room in her house for many overnight adventures. Dianne loved God’s nature and the magnificent beauty of the mountains and flowers. She also had a great love for God’s creatures and always had pets to share her life and love with.

Dianne was preceded in death by her first husband Billy Guess, her 2nd husband Robert Tobias, her father John Stoudemire, mother Mary Sue Crapps, infant brother Thomas Stoudemire, sister Shirley Pedings, brother John “Junior” Stoudemire, brother Samuel “Sammy” Stoudemire, and sister Linda Whitehead. She is survived by her daughter and son in law Wendy and Rob Dill, son Travis Guess, granddaughter Della Rose Dill, grandsons Luke Dill, Jude Dill, Mark Dill , and Levi Dill as well as sister and brother in law Cathy and Bob Varney, brother in law Jim Whitehead, numerous nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Dianne spent her last months living with her daughter’s family and enjoying visits from family and friends. She was cared for by a loving and compassionate Hospice team.

A celebration of Dianne’s life will be held Sunday September 6 at 4:00 at North Columbia Baptist Church. McAllister-Smith Funeral Home is assisting the family.
