Dennis Irwin Yetley

Dennis was the Son of Harold Yetley & the late Sandra Yetley of Marshalltown, Iowa. He graduated from Marshalltown High School (1965) & attended Marshalltown Community College, receiving an Associate’s Degree in Business. and a B.B.A. Degree from the University of Iowa. Dennis then enlisted in the US Army. There, he served nearly 23 yrs. Earning many honors during his time; he traveled to Germany & Vietnam. His final post was Fort Jackson, SC. Dennis loved his country & considered it an honor to have served. He adored & loved the late Jane Rodgers. He loved & cared for his pets as if they were his children. Dennis enjoyed watching the Carolina Gamecocks play football. and  he enjoyed spending time with friends at Carolina Wings on Fish Hatchery Rd. as well as other local pubs in Five Points. Dennis spent his last few days surrounded by friends & neighbors in Gaston,SC. Visitation will be held Mon./Dec. 16, 2019 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Moseley Funeral & Cremation Service in West Columbia, SC. A Graveside Service will be held Tues./Dec. 17, 2019 at 2:00pm at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
