Debra Sue Looney

Debra Raines Looney, 63, of West Columbia, went home to be with the Lord on January 5th. Debra loved the Lord, her family, friends, and life. Even with mental illness she was the nicest and most loving person you would ever meet. She graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1972. She is survived by her children Susan Looney, Bryan Looney (Eva) and two stepchildren Tammy and Tracy Looney. Grandchildren Jacob Taylor, Jonathan Taylor, Emery Brisson, and Karnell Hall ,and four step grandchildren. She was also expecting her first great-grandchild. Sisters,Carolyn Sightler, Georgia Davis, Joy Sanchez (Modesto) and brothers David Raines (Elaine) and Eddie Raines (Tonya) along with numerous nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her father Clarence Raines and mother Esther Busbee. She was a participant at Helping Hands and a member of Emmanuel Community Church in Springfield. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday January 13, 2018 at St. Paul’s Pentecostal Holiness church Cemetery in Swansea.
