Daniel Kit Jackson

Daniel Kit Jackson was born in Columbia, SC on April 27, 1950 and died peacefully on September 10, 2020  from Cancer.  Mr. Jackson grew up in the Columbia area and Graduated from Olympia High School. He was predeceased by his mother, Mildred Bone McCarty and father, James Carson Jackson, as well as both maternal and paternal Grandparents, a sister Diane Jackson Broxton and a brother, Michael Carl Moore.   He was a fun loving father, brother and friend. He leaves behind daughters, Danielle Jackson Huffman, Mindy De Jesus, son,  Sammy Hutto,  grandchildren,  Hallie Smith Rutter, (Dannah),  Harley Smith, Terry Sweat, Jr,  Charleston Tyler Sweat,  one great granddaughter,  Lily Faith Sweat , one grandson on the way , sisters, Rebecca Anderson Pulliam (Jerry),  Michele Moore White, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  We love you and miss you but we will see you again one day.  We would like to thank all of the nurses,  medical assistants,

Doctors, hospice and other staff at Pruitt Health Blythewood for his care . We would also like to thank all of our friends and family for the love,  prayers,  visits, phone calls ,  donations and support. We would also like to thank  Moseleys for their kindness, guidance, service and compassion during this difficult time.  We will have a memorial service for Mr. Jackson on Sunday  September  27 ^th at 3:00pm at Taylor Street Baptist Church 1000 Hafley Court Cayce, SC 29033 .
