He is lovingly survived by his wife Anita; their two sons, Clay and Calam Vanfossen; his mother Jennifer Townsend; father Max Vanfossen; sister Aubrey Townsend; brother Dylan Detablan; grandmother Phyllis Hambley; uncles Ryan and Jesse Hambley; and mother-in-law Lupe Fajardo. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who treasured him deeply.

A passionate enthusiast of skateboarding, Pokémon, music, and his faith in Jesus, Colton was known for his kind heart and unwavering spirit. Beyond his immediate circle, he courageously connected with internet friends to expose online scammers, protecting others from harm. His commitment to truth and community will be profoundly missed.
