March 27, 1958 — April 18, 2023

CLIVE ANTON JAMES LUGMAYER, 65, husband, father, Christian and friend died Tuesday, April 18, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Brenda; son, David (Cristina-wife); daughters, Stephanie (John-husband) and Brittany (Peter-husband), grandson, Fred and beloved niece, Heidi (Matt-husband).

Clive had the honor and privilege to serve in the United States Army. He was stationed in multiple countries throughout the world during his tour.  He served his country in many capacities. His career ended when he hurt his back in a training exercise, in Officers Candidate School.

He went on to have a successful career as a Welding Engineer working with NASA, the Washington, D.C. Metro Line, the Federal government, and various other private industry companies around the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area.  He then turned towards teaching the in the high schools in Virginia and South Carolina. Clive later accepted a position as an Associate Professor at Midlands Technical College, creating and growing their Welding Program to be one of the top programs in the state of South Carolina.

Clive’s most exciting and fulfilling job was working as an Aero-Space Auditor. This job took him around the world to China, South Korea, Japan, Mexico and many other countries. Clive gave up his beloved job due to the decline in his health.

In his spare time, Clive was a Christian Illusionist, who brought the Word of Christ to thousands of children and adults in a very simplistic form. You would always find him with a trick in his pocket and a joke to make you laugh. His love of Christ was always shining through to those who encountered him. The love he had for Christ could be seen in his works by the thousands of lives he touched in his lifetime.
