Clifton Lewis Hinson

Clifton Hinson peacefully went to be with Jesus on November 12, 2025. He shared a beautiful marriage of 57 years with his beloved wife, Frances Hinson. Clifton dedicated many years to Palmetto Baking Company, known for Sunbeam Bread, before retiring. He was a devoted husband and father whose love and kindness deeply impacted everyone around him.

He is lovingly remembered by his son, Cliff Hinson; daughters, Kathy Busby and Cheryl Crews; and his cherished wife, Frances Hinson. Clifton was a proud grandfather to Jaime Busby, Haileigh Stattler, and Jason Hinson, and a great-grandfather to Bentley Busby, Lucas Stattler, and Vella Rayne Stattler. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eunice Hinson, as well as by grandchildren Kaitlynn Busby and Brian Hinson, and great-grandson Kyzer Busby.

Clifton’s enduring legacy of love, faith, and dedication to his family and community will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
