Charlotte Isle Ruiz, 71, of Gilbert, SC, finally won her battle with Dementia and Jesus called her home on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents. She retired from the S.C. Retirement System in 2005. She was a Sweet and Beautiful Soul, who enjoyed exercising, walking and spending time with her family.

Surviving is her husband, George Ruiz, stepchildren, Georgia Sharpe (Wayne) of Gilbert, Anthony Ruiz of West Columbia, Steve Ruiz of Colorado, Donna McCray (Thomas) of Batesburg and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday, December 3, at Lexington Baptist Church in the Chapel with visitation following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Scott Fisher Orchestra Instrumental Memorial Fund or Pets, Inc. of West Columbia
