A service to celebrate the life of Carlie Dowd, 91, of Gaston will be held at 12:00 noon Monday May 23, 2022 at Trinity Baptist Tabernacle. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Mr. Dowd Passed away Friday May 20, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born Lexington County, the son of the late Lonnie and Bessie W. Dowd. Mr. Dowd was a member of Trinity Baptist Tabernacle and was US Army Veteran. Mr. Dowd is survived by his sister, Ruth Furtick; son, Carl (Mary) Dowd and daughter, Patricia (Jackie) Robinson; five grandchildren and a great grandchild.
