Bobby E Mclemore, Sr.

A funeral service for Bobby E. McLemore, Sr., of West Columbia, will be held at 2pm on Monday, December 29, 2014 in the chapel of Moseley Funeral & Cremation Service, with Russell Laird officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Lybrand Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8pm on Sunday, December 28th, 2014. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Bobby passed away Wed, Dec 24, 2014 at the age of 76. Born on April 14, 1938, in West Columbia, he was the youngest son of the late Amos McLemore and Creola Parnell McLemore. He retired from Robinson Machinery and various other jobs to take care of his family. He loved old westerns and fishing when he was able. Bobby was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Helen; children, Lois Pruitt, Elaine McLemore, Bobby Jr. McLemore, John McLemore and David McLemore; grandchildren, Shane Pruitt, Joseph and Amanda McLemore, Ray and Brittany Richardson; great-grandchildren, Aaliyah, Madison, Kaylee and Silas; sister, Vera Chaffin; numerous nieces and nephews. Bobby was preceded in death by 10 siblings.
