Billy Ray Keefe , Sr . WEST COLUMBIA –

Billy Ray Keefe, Sr. 9 1 , passed away on August 9 , 20 21, surrounded by the ones he loved the most. Born on December 30, 1929 in Columbia, SC he was the son of the late Raymond and Gladys Keefe. H e worked in the Ford Automotive Industry for fifty plus years. H e was a dedicated member of Saluda Rive r Baptist Church for the past 24 years. All who knew Mr. Keefe knew that he loved his family very much. You could immediately tell that he was a people person who enjoyed the company of others by his huge smile and funny remarks. H e was truly loved by ever yone he met .

In addition to his parents, B illy wa s preceded in death by his loving wife of 71 years, Bet ty Jean Hammond Keefe; a daughter, Valerie Jean Keefe; and a brother, Harold Keefe . H e is survived by his children, Billy Keefe, Jr. (Patricia) and Rhonda Keefe Browning (Rusty); sister, Evelyn Rish ; daughter in law, Sharon R. Keefe; brother in law, Joseph F. Hammond (Diane) ; as well as four grand-children and nine great grand-children.

Due to the present Covid-19 conditions, the family will have a private service on Friday, August 13, 2021 . A private Interment will immediately follow in Elmwood Cemet ery. Memorials may be made in Bill y's nam e to Saluda River Baptist Church, 3459 Sunset Blvd. West Columbia, SC
