Barbara Mondragon

"Barbara Leanne McLaughlin-Mondragon, 39, of Pelion, SC , passed away on September 3, 2021 after a short battle with COVID-19.

Barbara was born on December 14, 1981 to Roy “Butch” McLaughlin Jr. and the late Sharon Louise Chavis. Barbara dedicated her life to her six children Anna Castro (Tucker), Tatiana Stillinger (Tyler), Gabriella Castro (James), Alyssa Mondragon, D’Anthony Castro and Adrian Mondragon. Barbara was a caring person always putting others' needs ahead of her own, right up to the end. Barbara loved visiting the mountains, time with family and Clemson football. We will miss her greatly. Barbara was predeceased by her mother Sharon, grandfathers Roy A. Mclaughlin Sr. And Tommie Hagins Sr.  She is survived by her Father Roy “Butch” Mclaughlin, Step mother Mary “Pretty” Cathey, her six children Tatiana, Anna, Gabriella, D’Anthony, Adrian and Alyssa, five grandchildren Amelia, Jeremiah, Weston, Braelynn and Aidan, three sisters Stephanie Kennedy (Chubby), Ashley Mclaughlin, and  Sarah Mclaughlin, three brothers Bobby Chavis, Micheal Chavis (Brittany), and Todd Mclaughlin , her maternal grandmother Linda Brazell, paternal grandparents Delores and David Cottrell, a special Aunt Donna Boco and Uncle Zaldy Boco and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be a celebration of life announced at a later date."
