Ann Spires Owens

GASTON – A Memorial Service for Ann S. Owens, 71, of Gaston will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Red Stone Ministries, 236 Hollis Road, Lexington, SC 29073 .

Mrs. Owens was born on September 11, 1947 and passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Lexington Medical Center.

She was a loving wife, mother, granny, aunt and friend. Ann will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Ann was also an avid Bingo player.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, David Owens, three daughters, Karen Ann Slater (Lonnie), Janie Diane Peele (Bubba) and Christy Leigh Taylor (John), six grandchildren, Dallas Peele (Jay), Troy Peele (Savannah), Charles “Leon “Slater, Jonathan A.W. Tedder, Raychelle Lynn Taylor, Drake H.R. Taylor and one great grandson… Hunter Allen Peele, brothers, Leroy Spires (Grace), Randy Spires (Carolyn), sister, Lorene Swanger (Ron), many nieces and nephews and stepdad, Richard Reese.

Ann was predeceased by her parents…Mary Spires Reese (Mother) and John Robert Spires (Father), two brothers, John Robert Spires and Lonnie Spires and her sister in law, Jackie Spires.

The family will receive friends and family after the service, at the family home located at 400 Tabor Dr., Gaston, SC 29053 .
