Amy Marie Sasser

In loving memory of Amy Marie Sasser, 34, who passed peacefully from a chronic liver condition caused by an accident which occurred in 2009. She returned to Lexington Medical Center in 2018 with liver failure that was nonreversible. The good Lord called Amy home, telling her that all her good work on earth was completed.

Amy is survived by her son, Hunter Lee Meetze, 12, of Batesburg, SC; older sister, Dana Risinger, of Saluda, SC; mother, Carla Marie Risinger Sasser of Batesburg, SC; father Marc Sasser of Greensboro, NC; and close friend, Henry Moseley of Leesville, SC.

Amy graduated from Batesburg-Leesville High School in 2002 with Life Scholarships, honor classes, and was a high school cheerleader. Amy was a loving, caring young lady that always put others first. Amy’s goal in life was to make everybody HAPPY. She always looked up to her older sister, and she wanted her sister to be proud of her.

Her mother has learned just how much everyone loved Amy and her family is content that she is a child of God.
