Alvin Engene (Gene) Sikes

Alvin Eugene Sikes (Gene) was born Orange County, Florida On November 12. 1943 and passed away on December 22,  2024 in Kershaw  county,

Genes professional journey began with a distinguished career in the US Army where he retired with the rank of sergeant. His military service was characterized by his unwavering commitment and exemplary performance for his country. Gene continued to serve the public through his role with the SC Department of Corrections.

Those who Knew Mr. Sikes will remember him for his humble demenor and genuine kindness.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Ballard Sikes and son, James Brian Wilson both of Lugoff SC. He has many nieces and nephews who remember him with love.
