Al Durant

A service to celebrate the life of David "Al" Alton Durant, of Columbia, will be held at 3pm on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Virginia Wingard Memorial United Methodist Church, 1500 Broad River Rd, Columbia, SC 29210. The family will receive friends following the service at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to B.R.A.C of the church.

Al passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at the age of 61. Born on June 27, 1953 in Columbia, SC, he was the son of Marjorie MeGahee Durant and the late Alton L. Durant. Al attended Camden Military Academy and graduated from Irmo High School. He formerly owned and operated A Minute Print Shop on Broad River Road.

Al is survived by his mother and was preceded in death by his father.
