Shirley Ellingsen

Shirley Ellingsen passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024. She was born and raised in Chicago, Ill. and was the daughter of the late Ivan and Ruth Carlson. She was a military wife and homemaker, in addition to being a loving and caring mother of three children. She enjoyed cooking, going to garage sales, and making new friends wherever she went.

Shirley was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ralph Ellingsen Sr., and daughter Ruth Reiber. She leaves behind a sister, Cynthia Carlson and her husband Robert Bertoletti, her son Ralph Ellingsen Jr. and wife Sherry, loving daughter Lori Pinner and husband Rick, son-in-law Donny Reiber and six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 10:00am to 11:30am at Mosely Funeral & Cremation Service at 914 Meeting St. West Columbia followed by a gravesite service to celebrate the life of Shirley Ruth Ellingsen to be held at 12:30pm at Greenhaven Memorial Park at 11020 Two Notch Road, Elgin SC 29045.
