Kate K. Sightler

Kate K. Sightler, 81, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Born on May 20, 1940 in Prosperity, SC, she was a daughter of the late Roy Kelly and Cora D. Kelly.

Quilting, Gardening, hiking with family, and spending time with her pets were a few of Kate's favorite things.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Kathy Tanner and Deborah Galloway; two grandchildren, Chad Tanner and Tia Taggett; three great grandchildren, Bree, Colton, and Connor; siblings, Frank Kelly (Chris) and Ruth Cannon; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 3pm at Elmwood Cemetery, 501 Elmwood Ave. Columbia, SC 29201.The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 6pm to 8pm at Moseley Funeral & Cremation Service, 914 Meeting St. West Columbia, SC 29169.
