Alan was a remarkable brother-in-law. A man of few words and many talents, Alan was a gentle presence in the family whom we could always turn to for advice with anything from the complexities of computers to simple conversations about nature. He will be missed but always a part of this family. He is rejoicing in heaven with all of the family members that have gone before him, and I know I will see him again one day!
