Todd was one of the finest Christians I have ever known. The love he had for Robyn and their sons was his greatest joy. I was truly blessed just to be able to call him my friend.

Todd you have been the best brother any one person could ever want to have. I appreciate everything that you have done for me in my life. Todd you have done more for me than I can ever thank you for. Todd you fought a courageous fight with ALS, and you did WIN the battle. Todd you also have a wonderful wife, and two boys that helped you tremendously during this illness. Todd you know that you are loved by this family, and always will be. I can promise you I will always keep your memory alive. As we as a family have said our goodbyes it has not been easy for any of us. However, I do know that you are in a better place than we could ever imagine. Todd you are no longer suffering, hurting, and not sick. As I said my goodbyes to you again it was not easy. However, I rejoice in the fact that I know that you are with the Lord. Knowing that you are with the Lord helps me to grieve because I miss you so much, and I know in the coming days, weeks, months and years it is going to be tough. There’s a lot of people out there that really Love you that you may not of even been aware of. I personally have had people come up to me, and asked me how is my brother doing? A lot of these people have never met my brother Todd Hewitt. However, I always took the time to acknowledge everyone, and let them know that I appreciate them asking about my brother, and praying for my brother. Todd I know you left this World far too soon as a young man. However, you are so much better off, and I can only imagine how you’re enjoying your new life, and what God has planned for you. I promise to do what you asked me to do, and look after our Mom, and Dad and also I will do what I can For Jacob, Blair, and Robyn. I will miss you so much. I wish you were still here. But I know that you are in a far better place. I would just asked of you when it’s time for me to go to heaven please be the angel to come get me, and take me with you to heaven to be with the Lord. I only hope that I can be half the man that you became in your short time on this Earth. You are a prime example of what a great Christian, family man, and provider for your family friends, and church should be. I love you so much, and I know one day we will see each other again. God is real, and I know he’s looking down on us, and comforting us as we go through the grieving process of missing you. God bless you, and I will see you soon. Your brother Brian Hewitt give all the glory to God amen. Rest in peace my brother. I love you Todd

Robyn and the Hewitt boys, I'm sorry to hear of Todd's death. He was a strong man, clothed in a gentle demeanor. I met Todd and his wonderful bride, Robyn during their initial visit to the ALS Clinic in Charlotte, years ago. Thank you, Robyn for being a supportive friend to my wife, Jen. Both of us wish you and your sons all the best in your quest to live a life of happiness and fulfillment.
