Everett and Deborah,

Saddened to hear of Joyce’s passing but rejoicing to know where she is. She no longer hurts and has trouble getting around. Praying for you and other family members. May God truly be your comfort as He promised.

I worked with Joyce in the 1980's at Lexington Medical Center until 1991 when i started teaching at Midlands Tech where I taught for 22 years until 5 years ago. I always enjoyed working with Joyce. What struck me the most about her was her deep love for her family and for God. She dutifully cared for her mother in addition to working at the hospital. She loved her grandchildren dearly, and it was so important to her that they attend a Christian school and live a godly life. She talked a lot about her husband and daughter as well and her great love for them. I know she is rejoicing and happy and in the presence of God. Her life always brought glory to God.
