I wanted to reach out to you during this sad time to offer my condolences. While nothing will completely take away your grief, by meditating on God's promises found in the Bible, you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially encouraging. Here it promises that God "will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

Please take comfort in the knowledge that God has made a provision for those lost to us in death.  The Bible says, "this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercise faith in him should have life, and I will resurrect him on the last day,"(John 6:40).  Jesus gives us hope in the fact that one day our dead loved ones will be brought back to life. So while we greive now for those lost in death, the best is yet to come!
