I was so sorry to hear of Doris' death. I met Doris and Bobby at my husband's club (Loafers). They both were such remarkable people. As a new person to the shag world, they made me feel so welcome. I am praying for your family.

My family is sorry for your loss. Your mom and dad was like a second family to me during our middle and high school years. Little League Baseball, Pony League baseball. My brother(Billy Green - Blk)along side playing high school basketball. I (Carlton) as a manager in 1975 Upper State Championship Team Lynne (cheerleader) was a great experience. We had great times with our families. I think of them often. It was wonderful watching Lynne's son playing sports. I know they and my dad are smiling looking down on us.
Love always!

I counted Doris as a friend even though we only met during my hair appointments. She was always gracious and kind. My son Joe and Billy Green were classmates and good friends. I know that the children will miss both Doris and Bobby. Please know that my prayers are with you as you seek comfort in these difficult days.
In Christ,

Sending condolences to the family of Doris Green. I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. I am new to the Mello family and married to John Mello... Doris’ only brother. Although I never met Doris I have enjoyed hearing about her love of dancing and how much shag dancing at Myrtle Beach meant to her and Bobby. The stories tell me that had a rich and full life. I know it brings much peace knowing they are together again where they belong. Prayers for peace and comfort....🙏❤️
