Corley Eugene “Gene” Crocker

A service to celebrate the life of Corley Eugene “Gene” Crocker, 65, of Gaston will be held at 5pm Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Praise Fellowship Church of God, 155 Meadowfield Road, Gaston, SC 29053. In honor of Gene’s passion for the mission of the Gospel, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to any worship center

Gene embraced his lord and savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday, October 8, 2020. He was surrounded by his loving family. You would find Gene at his happiest sitting on his front porch drinking coffee, facetiming his family. He loved bringing everyone together and sharing his radiant faith. 

He is survived by, his wife, Michelle Crocker; children, LaFar(Kristie) Crocker, Alicia (Allen) Christmas, Kindra (David) Russell, Patrick Crocker; step-children, Heidi Scheuffele, Amylin (Dylan) Jones, and Haley Hickman; grandchildren, Taylor Crocker, Morgan Crocker, Bryson Crocker, Cailin Evans, DeveRussell, Chase Shearer, Austin Russell, Emmalena Zellner, Loralei Crocker, Leyton Jones, and Teagan Crocker; siblings, Corley (Kim) Crocker, Dean Crocker, DeWayne Crocker, Kathy (Paris) Deese, Sonja (Joe) Morin and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by parents Corley and Mildred Crocker, and sister Shelia Wooldridge.

Family and friends are welcomed to celebrate his life following the service at 233 Shannon Street, Gaston.

Sending love and praying for all of you! Gene was so ready and made sure everyone knew that. I just pray that when it's my time that my faith is as strong as his was up until he took his last breath. Love you all!
