Joyce, we just found out about your loss. We are so sorry. We have fond memories of living next to you and Ken for all those years. During the time we were next door, Ken was like a brother that I didn't have. Gosh I have told Rusty Fogle and others about how Ken and I would spend weekends at the river, or fishing, or cutting firewood and of course making homemade ice cream every Sunday.
It sounds like you have a good family support system but we will still pray that God will be with you through this loss.

I wanted to reach out to you during this sad time to offer my condolences. While nothing will completely take away your grief, by meditating on God's promises found in the Bible, you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting. Here it promises that God "will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."
