Mrs. Ozburn got me through a very rough patch my senior year. To some, she may have been "doing her job." To me, she made a difference in my life and my heart.

I probably wouldn't have made it through school had it not been for Mrs. Ozburn's wisdom and guidance. I knew I could talk with her about anything.

Bev Ozburn was a beautiful, energetic, and welcoming lady and we will miss her. Bev and my mother, Miriam Fanuiel, were co-workers and friends at Eau Claire HS and enjoyed each other's friendship even after both retired. Bev also worked with me when I was studying Guidance Counseling in grad school. My family and I visited Bev & Bandit whenever we came to Columbia. When my mom moved away with us she often stayed with Bev when we came back for a visit. Bev even had my family stay with her on one of our trips home. My sons, husband, and I all have fond memories of her. We were so glad to see her when we came home for a special service for my mom who passed away a few years ago. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jo Ann and Alyssa (whom we met while visiting) and all of Bev's family.
