I am lifting all of you up in prayer during this time and the days coming. May you all remember the best of times spent with Wes and trust the Lord to bring you peace.

My husband and I were able to meet Wes when we visited my sister, Connie, in the summer of 2015. He was excited to meet us and we him after hearing about each other through my sister. As we shared a meal with them and visited over coffee, Wes’s love for Jesus Christ was apparent. I was happy that my sister had found such a kind and loving companion in Wes. Despite the challenges Wes faced during his lifetime he was upbeat and had a great attitude. While Wes will be deeply missed by those who loved him, may they take comfort in knowing that he is now with the God he loving called ‘Yeshua’.

I wanted to reach out to you during this sad time to offer my condolences. While nothing will completely take away your grief, by meditating on God's promises found in the Bible, you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting. Here it promises that God "will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."
