A celebration of life service for James "Jimmie" Nichols, 87, of Lexington will be held 6:30 pm Tuesday March 8, 201 at Moseley Funeral & Cremation Service of West Columbia officiated by Reverend Larry Cooper. 

 

Mr. Nichols passed away Wednesday March 2, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Nichols was born in Columbia and was the son of Eva Nichols Watts. After retiring from Springs Industry, he became a Walmart greeter for many years. He was a Shriner with Jamil Temple, member of the Scottish Rites and Masons.

 

Mr. Nichols is survived by his wife, Carol Crosland Nichols; children, Vicki Nichols Miklosky and Frank Nichols; grandchildren, Kimberly Wenzell, Chris, Andy and Bryan Nichols and Nick Miklosky; great grandchildren, Lily and Luke Nichols.

 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to All Seasons Hospice for the compassionate care given to Mr. Nichols.
