A memorial service for Jacqueline Goff, of Gaston, will be held at 3pm on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Moseley Funeral & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home for the family.

Ms. Goff passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the age of 76. Born on March 3, 1939 in Florence County, SC she was the daughter of the late Charles Vander McLaughlin and Mertie Coker McLaughlin. Jacqueline enjoyed bowling and walking.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Sharpe; son, Charles McLaughlin; sister, Dale (Ken) Smoak; brother, Michael McLaughlin; grandchildren, Brittany (Allen) Thompson, Kristina (Aaron) Rhodes, and William Platt; great-grandchildren, Jayda Butler, Ethan Mack, Bryce Finley, Chase Finley, Abrianna Rhodes, Tay-Mar Rhodes, Jayliah Rhodes; numerous nieces and nephews (Shawn Smoak); special friends, Connie Floyd and Bobbie Backman.

Nanny/mommy I will miss u so so much.everyday of my life u will be on my mind u was the best grandmother I could ask for.it don't seem real that ur not going to be here anymore.i don't have nobody I can got aggravate anymore and u tell me to leave u alone.nanny u lived a long life and I'm glad u lived this long cuz without u I wouldn't be here today.im glad that ur not in no more pain but wish u was still here with us.it want be the same when I come back home to visit.i can go on and on about u but I will make it short cuz writing this is making me cry more and more.and I have to be strong for ur precious great grand kids and they said they love u especially Ethan ur little sick kick.i love u nanny heart and soul.thanks for raising me and loving me and making me a strong woman.watch over us tell my mommy I said hey and now I have to guardian angels now.i love u my angelπŸ‘„πŸ‘„πŸ’‹πŸ™πŸ˜­
